The STWC Advanced Firefighting course is set up to offer teaching to personnel, that are authorised to control firefighting operations on a vessel, with a focus on organisation, tactics and command.

Prerequisites

Prospective delegates must have completed the STCW Firefighting and Fire Prevention (FFFP) or any acceptable equivalent to the MCA.

Prospective delegates must be physically capable to complete all areas of the practical side of the course. Delegates are required to complete a medical declaration before attending the course.

Photographic ID (A Government issued, photographic proof of identity on the day of the course and this should take the form of either a valid Passport or a driving license or a valid discharge book).

Certification
Successful delegates will be awarded with an MCA approved STCW Advanced Firefighting certificate, after a short exam.
Revalidation
5 years.
Special Requirements
You must
- Wear comfortable clothes, but not jeans or clothes with metal attached.
- Bring a towel, and toiletries.
