The MCA Approved Engine Course 1 provides a blend of practical experience and theory development over the five days.

The MCA Approved Engine Course 2 (AEC2). is a mandatory five-day course for students enrolled in the new small vessel route to second engineer and is ideal for the owners or operators of small inshore commercial and pleasure vessels. Delivery of the content is split into both classroom activities and practical application. It comprises of approximately 50% theory and 50% practical work.

The MCA Stability for Workboats, Pilot Boats and Small Commercial Vessels is a new 1-day course introduced by the MCA to comply with the requirement in the 2014 MCA Workboat.

Stream Marine Training offer Entry into Enclosed/Dangerous Spaces training courses from our Glasgow Airport Training campus or on the clients’ premises and can travel to vessels or offshore platforms to carry out the training.

The Marine Evacuation System training (MES) course is designed to provide initial familiarisation or support to existing training onboard following the guidelines of MGN 558. This course is for existing offshore emergency team leaders that are required to revalidate their OPITO OERTL certification by completing training scenarios that they are unable to undertake offshore. It is important therefore to set common standards in emergency response and to ensure that they are maintained.

OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (OERTL) 3 day course to equip delegates with necessary knowledge and skills to perform the role of Emergency Response Team Leader effectively.

This is training for members of the designated emergency response teams in offshore installations.
