Description
An OPITO-approved ERRV Crew Fast Rescue Craft Coxswain training course meets the initial emergency response training requirements for the role of an Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel (ERRV) Crew Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) Coxswain.
Certification
Where delegates successfully meet the Learning Outcomes of the course, they will be issued with an OPITO Approved Certificate which is valid for 3 years.

Prerequisites
Attendance on this training course is open to learners who have a valid OPITO Initial Training Shipboard Operations certificate or reassessment to an equivalent standard through OODTP, a valid OPITO ERRV Crew Fast Rescue Craft Boatman certificate and who have three months sea service as an FRC boatman.
*Note: A current and valid Advanced Medical Aider may attend this course if they do not possess a valid ITSO certificate. However, in this instance they have to have a current ERRV OODTP for Masters and Crew (OPITO Code 6190)

Clothing:
Day 1 - Swimwear, such as t-shirt and shorts, towel for swimming pool exercise.
Day 2 – 4 - Comfortable clothing for under boatsuit, suitable for the forecasted weather conditions as well as a full change of clothes.
