Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Initial Training (Twin Fall)

This course is for existing offshore emergency team leaders that are required to revalidate their OPITO OERTL certification by completing training scenarios that they are unable to undertake offshore. The oil and gas industry recognises that a major objective is to prevent incidents occurring, and if they do occur to control them and minimise their effect. It is important therefore to set common standards in emergency response and to ensure that they are maintained.

OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (OERTL) 3 day course to equip delegates with necessary knowledge and skills to perform the role of Emergency Response Team Leader effectively.

This is training for members of the designated emergency response teams in offshore installations.

This is a basic offshore safety training.

This course will provide learners with an awareness of the major accident hazards, workplace hazards and associated controls to be found on offshore installations.

OPITO ERRV FRC Coxswain Course

This Product is to meet the updating, further practice and assessment requirements for an Advanced Medical Aider. It should be undertaken within 2 years of qualification as an Advanced Medical Aider and at periods not exceeding 2 years thereafter.

This Product is to equip the learner with the initial knowledge, understanding and skills required to perform the role of ERRV AMA. Note: This role is separate from the STCW medical function.

This Product is designed to meet the further practice requirements not able to be met offshore for an Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain in the energy industry.
